With the development of this great resource, Southpine Nelson Ltd has emerged as a major New Zealand producer of quality solid timber products for both the domestic and international markets.  Since 1948, the Southpine name has been synonymous with quality, service and reliability in the timber industry.

Ongoing expansion and the introduction of sophisticated hi-tech processing equipment has seen the Company's production output increase dramatically to satisfy a rapidly growing list of International and domestic customers.

The Ever Changing Markets

A strong customer focus has guided Southpine's development both in New Zealand, and as a major exporter.  Quality solid timber products are currently exported to China, The Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia and the United States of America.

Regular visits to these markets provides the Company with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs of its customers, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions.
